Supplying clean water in Ugandan rural areas is very important for improving health and daily life. To help solve this problem, clean water can be provided through building protected wells, boreholes, and rainwater harvesting systems.

Education and training

Education and training of the youth in using computers and cameras are essential in today’s digital world. . Through hands-on learning, they can gain confidence in using technology for tasks like research, communication, and content creation. 

Carering fo accomodation

Renovating and building new houses for the needy is an important way to improve their living conditions and bring hope to their lives. A good home is the foundation for a better future

Media and Production

Media and production skills are important for creating and sharing information through videos, photos, and audio. These skills include using cameras, editing software, writing scripts, and planning content  Teaching these skills, especially to young people, encourages creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy in today’s fast-changing world.

Keryn Foundation Uganda is a community-based organization dedicated to giving hope to the forgotten—empowering women, children, and marginalized communities through education, health outreach, and economic development. We also uplift talented but struggling young people—especially those who’ve lost hope—by offering them a creative platform in film and media.
Through storytelling, mentorship, and short film projects, we help rebuild confidence and skills among youth. Many of them had given up on their dreams, but through our studio, they’ve found purpose again

CAMERAS FOR GIRLS

Cameras For Girls is more than a training program—it’s a pathway to real careers in media for young Africans. In many parts of Africa, even graduates in journalism struggle to find paid work due to a lack of skills, tools, and support.

That’s where we come in. We provide cameras, hands-on training, and mentor-ship that help young people break into the media industry, build confidence, and gain financial independence. While we focus on supporting women in a male-dominated field, the change we spark benefits entire communities.
